We are here to, above all, ride our bikes! We stay together as a group and follow a pre-determined route through the city. We meet at 7pm on the last Friday of the month at St Mary’s Park in Seton Hill. The wheels hit the road at 7:30. We usually ride until ~9:30 with 1 or 2 stops along the way. The ride is a slow pace (~6-10mph) designed to keep everyone of all biking abilities together!
Respect other traffic around you. If we as cyclists want equal rights on the road, and we want drivers to respect us, we have to respect them! When possible, allow drivers to pass in the left lane. Stop at red lights. Watch out for pedestrians and your fellow bikers! We want to stay together and stay positive. One of our goals is to build a positive bond between cyclists and other citizens of Baltimore.
Music! Lights! Costumes! Bells and air horns! Streamers and glitter! We are all here to have a good time. Have a friend(s) with a bike? Bring them along! Don’t have any friends? Come make some! We are all about having a good time and building the cycling community!
